The CT CHOICES Program provides free counseling and assistance to older adults and persons with disabilities and is an excellent resource for individuals who are new to Medicare. Trained CHOICES staff can help consumers navigate the numerous options involved while reducing stress and confusion. We have certified CHOICES counselors who can assist you with Medicare and its related options with supplemental plans, prescription drug coverage, Advantage plans, and more.

The Medicare Savings Program
The Medicare Savings Program (MSP) can help you pay for your Medicare Part B premium, prescription assistance, and Medicare coinsurance and deductibles for those that qualify. Please click here for more information from the CT Department of Social
Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program (QMB)
Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program (QMB), is a program for persons who are on Medicare Part A or B. With this program, the Government will provide supplemental insurance and/or a monthly refund for the Part B Medicare premium paid by the individual. Also, it may help to lower the prescription costs for people who have Medicare Part D prescription coverage. There is an application to be completed for this program and specified income limits must be met.
