Overview
The Emergency Medical Systems (EMS) Committee interacts with the Bloomfield Police Department, the Bloomfield Volunteer Ambulance (BVA) Coordinator, the Bloomfield Volunteer Ambulance Fund, and the BVA Coordinating Committee and receives and analyzes data for possible recommendations. The Committee provides recommendations on current emergency medical systems matters, and periodic summaries of its activities to the Town Council’s Public Safety Committee. The Committee meets regularly and provides support for activities and actions to enhance BVA performance and foster interest in current relevant Bloomfield programs.
