WELCOME TO THE TAX COLLECTOR'S OFFICE

The Town of Bloomfield Tax Collector's Office is responsible for the prompt and efficient billing and collection of real estate, personal property, and motor vehicle taxes for all current and prior Grand Lists, ensuring the necessary revenue is secured for essential town services. Additionally, through a contractual agreement, we collect on behalf of the Bloomfield Center and Blue Hills Fire Districts.

We strive to uphold fairness and integrity for every taxpayer in accordance with the Connecticut General Statutes.

Immediate DMV clearance is available only when paying with a debit/credit card online or cash/money order in the office. Please call 860-769-3510 after payment is approved if a DMV release is needed.
