Bloomfield Tax Calculator (2024 Revaluation)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS CALCULATOR IS MEANT TO ESTIMATE REAL ESTATE TAXES ONLY. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE FIRE DISTRICTS OR ANY EXEMPTIONS AND IS NOT FOR USE WITH MOTOR VEHICLE TAXES.
Enter your property’s post-revaluation assessed value (the 70% CT assessed figure, effective GL 2024), along with either your old (pre-reval) assessed value or your Revaluation Increase (%). We need one of those to calculate the four-year 25% phase-in correctly. If you leave both blank, we can’t produce an accurate phase-in comparison.
This calculator uses the FY2026 (Grand List 2024) approved mill rate as its baseline and assumes roughly a 3% mill rate growth in each subsequent year.
Disclaimer:
The Town of Bloomfield Tax Calculator is provided as a tool to help residents estimate their property taxes over the four-year phase-in period following the state-mandated property revaluation. The calculator incorporates a phased-in increase of assessed values and includes a projected annual 3% increase in the mill rate, applied AFTER MILL RATE EQUALIZATION to account for the phasing in of the 2024 Revaluation.
All figures generated by this tool are estimates only and intended for informational purposes. Final tax bills may vary based on adopted budgets, actual mill rates set by the Town Council, and other fiscal considerations.
