New Town Manager: Stanley D. Hawthorne
Stanley joined the Town of Bloomfield on August 31, 2021 as the new Town Manager. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Virginia.
Stanley received certifications of excellence from Harvard, Syracuse, and the Wharton School of Business. He has been the Assistant City Manager in Lakeland and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the City Manager of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. He looks forward to building professional, respectful, and supportive relationships with the governing body, boards, employees (“community builders”), and especially the public, whom he prefers to call “neighbors.” He is already inspired by the beauty of Bloomfield and the neighbors who live, play, and work here.
Welcome Stanley, we are so pleased to have you on our team.
