PRIOR TPZ ACTIONS

45 Douglas Street (Bloomfield Tennis Club)
Summary: The project proposes six (6) outdoor clay surface tennis courts, eight (8) outdoor bituminous concrete surface pickleball courts, and two small central outdoor pavilions.
Application was approved with conditions at the July 23 TPZ meeting.

580 Cottage Grove Road (Corporate Crossing)
Summary: Applicants are requesting: (1) a zone change from Professional Office (PO) to Residential 15( R-15) and (2) a subsequent zone change from R-15 to Planned Luxury Residential (PLR) along with Master Plan Approval for 42 residential units to be located in two apartment buildings.
Application was approved  at the July 23 TPZ meeting.

95 Granby Street Site Plan Revision
Summary:  The owners are requesting a Site Plan revision to allow a retail use in the space in front of an existing manufacturing use and to allow expansion of an existing parking lot to  accomadate the increased parking demand.  The Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission approved the application on June 15, 2020.

Application was approved with conditions at the July 23 TPZ meeting.

 

Request for Text Amendment by Design Professionals, Inc.
Summary:  The applicant has petitioned the TPZ for a Text Amendment that would raise the maximum building hight allowed in the Professional Office District (PO) from 35 feet to 40 feet.
Application was approved at the June 25 TPZ meeting.

21 Northwood Drive Site Plan Application

Summary: The applicant is proposing to erect a 3,200 s.f. storage warehouse along with spaces for up to 8 trucks on an existing vacant parcel.
Application was approved with conditions at the June 25 TPZ meeting.

1236 Blue Hills Ave. Resubdivision
Summary:   The applicants are requesting a resubdivision approval to split off one lot from an existing parcel.
Application was denied without prejudice at the May 28, 2020 TPZ meeting.

1236 Blue Hills Ave.  Zone Change Request
Summary:   The applicants are requesting a zone change form Residential 15 (R-15) to Industrial 2 (I-2) for a portion of the property.

Summary:   The applicants are requesting a Special Permit to allow a Contractor's Yard  with a new principal building with outside storage of material and equipment as an accessory use.

1390 Blue Hills Ave. Site Plan Application
Summary:  The owners are requesting a Site Plan approval to construct an accessory parking lot for 434 trailers for the HomeGoods Distribution Center.

122 West Dudley Town Road - Special Permit 
Summary: Applicant is requesting an approval of a Special Permit to allow the operation of a Commercial Dog Kennel

33 Mucko Road -  Special Permit Request
Summary:   Central Recycling, LLC (owner:  Windsor Sanitation Inc.) for a Special Permit to allow a bulky waste recycling facility, with a permanent reduction of 35% of required parking; temporary installation deferral of 25% of required parking; and outside storage of materials.
Application was approved with conditions at the May 28 TPZ meeting.

54,56 & 80 Jolley Drive Zone Change Request
Summary: Request by Jolley 2, LLC (owner:  Forty Acres Associates) for a Zone Change from I-1 to PO along with Master Plan Approval for 111 multi-family units
Application was approved at the May 28 TPZ meeting.

100 Filley Street Special Permit Request
Summary: Request by T-Mobile Bloomfield (owner:  FJS Properties, LLC) for a Special Permit to allow emergency power generators, with a permanent reduction in parking, outside the building.
Application was approved with conditions at the May 28 TPZ meeting.

5 Saint Andrews Site Plan
Summary: Request by CT Dept. of Emergency Services and Public Protection (owner:  Eversource) for a Revised Site Plan to allow a 12’ by 34’ equipment shelter with an indoor generator, underground LP tank and new antennas on the existing tower.
