EVERSOURCE – UTILITY ASSISTANCE
Eversource's residential electricity supply rate is going up to 24.17 cents per kWh (January 1 to June 30, 2023). Energize CT provides a Public Rate Board where residents and businesses can compare generation supply rates from different suppliers.
Connecticut deregulated its electric industry in 1998, which allows customers to choose their electricity supplier the same way they choose their suppliers for anything else. Visit Energize CT to learn more about choosing a supplier.
No one wants to see rising energy prices – especially as costs for other everyday goods and services have increased, too.
Eversource offers programs to help you manage your energy costs, use less energy and connect you with assistance if you need it for this winter and beyond. These programs include New Start, Matching Payment Program, and Winter Protection. Bloomfield Social & Youth Services can also assist you with enrolling in these programs.
