Bloomfield Partners With YWCA For 50/50 Campaign

The 50/50 Campaign seeks to increase civic participation amongst marginalized communities and promote equitable racial and gender representation on municipal boards and commissions

YWCA Hartford Region is partnering with the Town of Bloomfield to spearhead the 50/50campaign! The 50/50 Campaign seeks to increase civic participation amongst marginalized communities and promote equitable racial and gender representation on municipal boards and commissions. We want you to get involved with the 50/50 campaign and use your voice to represent your community, become a leader in your community by participating in a learning session, applying to open positions, and sharing you voice. Currently in Bloomfield they are looking to fill positions on theses boards: Public Arts Commission and Inland, Wetlands, and Watercourse Commission.

Bloomfield joins the City of Hartford and the Town of East Hartford in this campaign.
