Plan of Conservation and Development Update --- Status: Update in progress

The Bloomfield Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) is a document to provide guidance for the (as the name indicates) development and conservation of land within the town.  The POCD also provides guidance for the future of Town infrastructure and facilities, such as transportation systems, buildings, parks, etc.  The POCD is developed and maintained by the Town Plan and Zoning Commission, with input from other Town boards and commissions, Town departments and related agencies, local organizations, and community residents and businesses.  By statute, the POCD is to be updated at a minimum of every ten years.

The Town Plan and Zoning Commission is currently in the process of updating the Town's POCD; and a website has been created for the process. For more information, status and event updates, or to provide input to the POCD update process, please visit the POCD update website at https://www.planbloomfield.com/.
