Facilities Division

The Facilities Operations Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the management, maintenance, improvement, and operation of all non-Board of Education Town Facilities.

Services include:

  • Identifying building issues and potential improvements
  • Responding to occupant work requests
  • Engineering, planning, and executing building repairs and renovations
  • Engaging vendors and contractors to perform building related projects and services
  • Managing capital projects from inception to completion
  • Creating and monitoring both operational and capital improvement budgets
  • Maintaining building Electrical, Mechanical, and Life Safety systems
  • Tracking utility costs and implementing energy saving controls where feasible
  • Building cleaning and janitorial maintenance
  • Working with building occupants and departments to plan space improvements, moves, adds, and changes
